About
Hi! I’m Lydia Cline, drafting professor at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Ks., and author of Architectural Drafting for Interior Designers (Cengage Delmar), a full-color, tutorial textbook that includes 70 tear-out worksheets on lettering, scales, orthographic projection, symbols, scaled floor plans, and more. It also has a solution manual and CD resource with a test bank, Power Points, and image library. Instructors may obtain a desk copy here.
I’m also the author of the upcoming Drafting and Presentation Visuals for Interior Designers (Pearson Prentice Hall, Jan 2011), a textbook that includes color and rendering, and Today’s Military Wife (Stackpole Books), a resource guide in print for 22 years and sold at Barnes and Noble and military exchanges worldwide.
On this blog I share tips and hints for board (manual) drafting, and answer questions from students working on sketches, drafted drawings, color boards and models. If you have a question or a topic you’d like me to cover, feel free to send an email to m s ro se again @ yahoo.
Happy Drafting!
